Comentarios Sobre Cxiam

Vinilkosmo es la entidad más importante relacionada con la música en esperanto. Sobre mi canción Cxiam (Siempre) tuvieron la deferencia de hacer un comentario en su último newsletter. Comentario que agradezco y que aquí va reproducido:
Carlos Devizia es un artista con variados talentos que navega entre la pintura, la gráfica, música y video. Su canción "Cxiam" (Siempre) es la primera terminada en esperanto, pero otras están cerca de ser terminadas o en plena realización y él planea terminar su album "Bizara Lando" (Tierra Extraña" en el transcurso del año.
Carlos ofrece una variada mezcla de fuentes sonoras, tanto electrónicas como tradicionales, como por ejemplo el saxofón, clarinete, teclados y otros instrumentos no usuales como el didgeridoo o el ukulele, de este modo resaltando el aspecto multi-cultural del esperanto, usando también escalas y estructuras de diversas partes del mundo.
Un video clip de Cxiam, dirigido por Carlos, e invocando la búsqueda de la libertad, fue publicado en Farbskatol' anunciando la presentación del album. Para la realización del video Carlos utilizó films y fotografías del dominio público, incorporando animaciones, creando de este modo un trabajo marcado por sensaciones tan extrañas como su música.

Se fue Arthur Clarke, no voy a poner un montón de datros biográficos porque de ello está lleno y porque fue tan vasta su obra que necesxitaría varios blogs para ello.

Simplemente, diré la única palabra que cabe en estos casos: Gracias por todo maestro. Si amo la ciencia ficción es gracias a usted!!

No se ve mucho pero bueno... Aquí estoy tocando el clarinete y el saxofón alto en la Asociación Japonesa "Seibu" de Morón, Argentina.

Ben Webster

Talentoso y único, su actitud hacia el disfrute de la música es admirable. Whitney Batlliett dijo sobre una actuación de Ben:"...escuchamos un solo, cantante y apasionado, de Webster, que en pocos segundos, explica exactamente de que se trata el jazz".

Talented and unique, his attitude towards the enjo9y of playing is admirable. Whitney Batlliet said about one of Ben´s performances: "...Webster could be heard in a singing, impassioned solo that explained, in a matter of seconds, exactly what jazz is..."

Talentplena kaj senegala, sia sinteno pri muziko estas mirinda. Whitney Batlliett diris pri Ben: "auxdante Webster kiam li ludas saksofonon, oni komprenas, nur en sekondoj, tion, kio estas Jxazo".

La voz de Nat "King" Cole es uno de los recuerdos auditivos de mi infancia. Gran pianista y cantante. Uno de los grosos de verdad.

Si querés tocar jazz de verdad, escuchá a Claude Bolling, un pianista con todas las letras. Un maestro en serio. Este es mi homenaje a él.

Estoy en proceso de creación de un sitio dedicado a los grandes del jazz. Aquí van los dos primeros homenajeados, Coleman Hawkins y Maceo Parker. El primero, una gloria del saxo tenor y el segundo, el hombre con el funk en sus venas.
